Coats

I have been photographing on Savile Row, London for a tailors. It’s been a hugely interesting project presenting various challenges on the way. I have been really happy with my lighting set up and have been using a couple of relatively cheap softboxes that were several times cheaper than a Bowens setup to what I have been used to. Needles to say all has gone very well so far.

New lighting – pretty excited

I have just got hold of some new studio lighting – nothing out of this world but a Bowens monoblock, some stands and a few softboxes. I have a shoot coming up soon where it’ll be put into place for real but in the mean time I’ve been checking it all works.

Here are a few objects I simply put on top of the softbox and fired away!

Studio product shoot

Quickest studio shoot of all time – i had to be in/out in one hour.  Shot over 40 products in that time and set up the studio lighting and cleared it all away in that time – I did have an assistant; thanks Naree!

The shoot was to photograph some products for a website (not sure on it yet, details I expect to come)
